About PDF and file QR codes

A file code is a link to a document that already lives on the web: a menu, a brochure, a manual, a set of slides. Scanning it opens the file in the phone’s browser or viewer. Restaurants, hotels, museums and product packaging use it to replace printed handouts with something that stays current.
